Diesel Mechanic Technician

Reliance Student Transportation, LLC has an opening for a reliable PM Technician with 2 years (preferred) experience in a fleet truck/bus environment who will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and cleaning of our bus fleet; support our drivers by washing buses, fueling vehicles, or assisting with facility repair and maintenance; notify Lead Mechanic or Terminal manager of vehicle damage or unsafe conditions found in our fleet; provide repair and maintenance assistance to Lead Mechanic as assigned; maintain a clean, productive, and safe work environment; function as a substitute driver when necessary. This position requires the ability to work independently in a fast paced, changing environment and maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, customer service and ethics; must possess strong verbal and written skills with the ability to document work effectively; capability of following a task list for each vehicle coming in for service giving attention to detail. In addition, the candidate will be expected to comply with Safety and EPA procedures; be 21 years of age or older; pass a criminal background check and obtain a clean child abuse record check; pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen; have a clean driving record; preferably possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent; possess a PA State Inspection Certificate. School Bus and Passenger Endorsement preferred or within 60 days of hire.
