Position Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of transportation/shipping/receiving or manufacturing experience required
- 12-months fork truck, skid loader and jockey experience
- English fluency (read, write, speak)
- Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment (dirty, confined spaces, strict timelines, etc.), attention to detail, and adapt to changing demands
- Read and understand units of measure
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Must be safety conscious and carry out work responsibilities in a safe manner
- Must be able to work overtime to meet operational requirements
- Able to safely perform related physical requirements/demands of the role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency required (inventory, data entry, work orders, etc.); previous ERP experience preferred
- Ability to exert up to 130 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Ecore International has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to become a Yard Jockey / Transportation Clerk I at our York location.
This position is responsible for performing the functions of jockeying trailers to and from the dock as well as loading and offloading raw material based on the plant’s needs. Ensures all safety policies are followed including properly hooking tractors to the yard truck, placing and removing chocks, handling swing doors and being alert to other traffic in the yard. Also includes the use of forklifts and skid loaders to safely load and off load material from vans and walking floors. Will need to learn how to operate the scale house to weigh in and out our trailers as well as vendor trailers to assure they are properly loaded and not overweight.
