Maintenance – Electro Mechanical

Description

Mechanical Maintenance:

• Corrective and breakdown maintenance of all equipment: Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, manufacturers’ specifications or supervisor‘s instructions, using hand and power tools, precision measuring or testing devices.
• Diagnose machine malfunction and determine the need for adjustment or repair
• Dismantles machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part
• Replaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part
• Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction
• Basic fabrication and repair of all necessary equipment

Preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment

• Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment, following preventive maintenance schedule to ensure all machinery is in good, safe working order

Electrical Mainenance:

• Perform testing, diagnostic, maintenance and troubleshooting work on machine tools and systems including: NC and CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Perform maintenance and repairs on plant power distribution systems
• Apply electrical knowledge to research and identify electrical components and parts

Installing, troubleshooting and upgrading of all equipment:

• Ability to install conduit, electrical wiring, air/water/hydraulic piping or any additional systems required for proper machine installation with direction from senior Technicians, engineering or supervision
• Read blueprints, schematic drawings and diagrams in order to properly and safely install machinery
• Assembles and test operates machine to verify safe working order and proper functionality

Overall Plant Maintenance Assistant, as needed

• Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds (including snow removal, basic plumbing, HVAC and basic carpentry, etc.)
