Assembler – Mechanical

(ACT), located in Lancaster and York, Pennsylvania, is a manufacturer of thermal management products for diverse industries and applications, including commercial satellites, military vehicles, medical devices, primary calibration equipment, environmental conditioning and HVAC systems. The Mechanical Assembler provides support for assembling sheet metal cabinets and installing components such as coils, compressors, motors, blowers, and fans into Environmental Control Units

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow work orders and assembly drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Must have experience with use of basic hand tools and mechanical assembly work
• High School diploma or GED

Preferences

• Experience in mechanical assembly of refrigeration units preferred

The standard work schedule for the Mechanical Assembler is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
