| Job Responsibilities o Maintain constant flow of material between the in-feed hoppers, blender and dryer. o Be able to operate a forklift to be able to bring material to the extruder, to take off rolls from the extruder, and to take these rolls to proper storage locations. o Assist operators in all aspects of operation of Extrusion lines including change-overs, machine start-up, running and shut-down o Change Filters as needed o Proper stacking of finished product ensuring they are leveled and squared o Making sure the measurements are accurate (Width, Length, Diagonals, thickness and GSM “weight per square meter”) o Responsible for the edge Trimming machine (on-line Grinder) o Maintain resin boxes to sustain a proper steady supply of resin for Extrusion machines o Continually weighing and hauling scrap o Continually removing full pallets and putting new pallets o Counting and recording all product numbers as per work order o Continual quality testing and maintaining production records o Encourages, assists, and participates in all procedures and initiatives. o Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities o Keep the work area clean and organized. This includes the material handling area, the extruder area and the winding area Skills and Qualifications: o Good computer skills o Must have Mathematical Aptitude o Able to work well with others / self-motivated o Strong Mechanical Aptitude o Ability to read/understand specifications o Ability to read measuring devices such as a ruler, caliper, micrometer and scale o Manual dexterity, ability to use all hand tools o Frequent standing, walking, reaching and lifting o Regular and punctual attendance o Strong attention to detail o Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability o Must be willing to work overtime as needed o Must be willing to fill in on any shift as needed |
