Registered Nurse, Home Care & Hospice York County

SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Full Time Day RN for Home Care and Hospice in York, PA

*Up to a $13,000 sign on bonus available*

Required:

• Graduate of a school of nursing with current license(s) to practice as a professional nurse in the state(s) served by SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice
• Current CPR certification within three (3) months of employment
• A passion for serving older adults

Experience: One (1) year of recent clinical experience in licensed or certified discipline normally required.

General Responsibilities:

1. Assesses and evaluates the client’s need for Skilled nursing services.
2. Travels to client’s location in various weather conditions.
3. Gains access to the client by available means which may include but is not limited to steps; uneven surfaces; wet, snow covered or icy surfaces; narrow entrances; etc.
4. Assesses visual, olfactory, tactile and auditory signs and skilled nursing needs of the client.
5. Identifies and prioritizes nursing diagnosis and determines realistic goals in cooperation with client/ family and/or attending physician.
