Thank you for your interest in the Practical Nursing program! Nursing is a rewarding career where each and every day is different. Whether you’re a high school graduate ready to get started in the medical field or a current nursing assistant ready for what comes next, a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse might be for you.

We are currently accepting applications for the July  2024 class. Admission to the Practical Nursing program is selective, and you are strongly encouraged to complete all admissions requirements by April 30, 2024.

  • Completed application
  • Official copy of High School or GED transcript
  • Copy of driver’s license
  • Two letters of recommendation (from teacher, supervisor, etc.)
  • Brief essay discussing your reasons for wanting to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (150 words minimum)

Step 3

Complete TEAS Testing

Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) test as part of the Practical Nursing program application process. The total adjusted score you receive on the test will be considered as part of our selective admissions process.

The ATI TEAS is designed specifically to assess a student’s preparedness entering the health science fields. Questions are designed to test basic academic skills you will need in class, including Reading, Math, Science, and English/Language Usage. ATI offers a variety of test preparation products (link below). Additionally, TEAS resources and materials are offered by other vendors. Feel free to use the materials of your preference. We strongly encourage preparation for the exam. All costs for test preparation products are the responsibility of the student.
