Primary Responsibilities:
Education Requirement:
Associate degree in electronics or completion of an equivalent electronics certificate program.pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed
Troubleshooting and repair of stand-alone, unpowered circuit boards.
a. Ability to fault-find circuit boards to the component level, with and without schematic assistance.
b. Ability to replace standard and surface mount electronic components using proper soldering and desoldering equipment and techniques.
c. Ability to troubleshoot and test using standard electronic test equipment, including:
Huntron Tracker component tester and curve tracer
Capacitor and inductor testers
Bench DC power supplies
EPROM reader and writer with programming capability
Multifunction generator
Oscilloscope
Digital voltmeter (DVM) and amp clamp
Working knowledge of ESD prevention as it pertains to electronic bench work.
Ability to create, manage, and sustain an electronic parts inventory.
Ability to create, document, and maintain equipment specific test procedures.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
