Congratulations to Karyn Pifer and Jennifer Sealover, recipients of the Brown’s Orchard “Teacher of the Year” awards for March. Ms. Pifer and Ms. Sealover, both faculty members of the Practical Nursing program, were nominated for this award by Practical Nursing student Emily Radcliffe, who noted that these two teachers “motivate our class to keep going when we are discouraged.” Ms. Pifer and Ms. Sealover currently teach the Level I & II portion of the Practical Nursing curriculum.
Representatives from Brown’s Orchards & Farm Market, located at 8892 Susquehanna Trail South in Loganville, surprised the winners by showing up to class with certificates and goodie baskets as well as apples for the students.
