Job Title: Appliance Installer

Job Overview: As an Appliance Installer, you will be responsible for delivering various appliances to customers’ homes and ensuring they are installed correctly and in working order. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle and install appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and stoves. You will represent our company in a professional manner while providing top-notch service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely load appliances onto delivery trucks and transport them to customers’ homes.
2. Unload appliances at customers’ residences and carefully move them to the designated installation area.
3. Install appliances according to manufacturer instructions and company guidelines, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
4. Test appliances to verify that they are in working order before leaving customers’ homes.
5. Provide demonstrations to customers on how to operate their newly installed appliances and answer any questions they may have.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues or complications that arise during the process.
7. Complete required paperwork, such as delivery tickets and installations reports, accurately and promptly.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment.
9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations, at all times.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in appliance delivery and installation preferred.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks repeatedly throughout the day.
6. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
7. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
2. Stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
3. Manual dexterity to manipulate tools and appliances in tight spaces.
