We are looking for a Service Technician in Harrisburg, PA, who will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community to include but not limited to: facilities maintenance, general building maintenance and repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, construction and home remodeling, heating and cooling, and other building systems, general grounds/curb appeal management, and “make ready” renovations.

Some Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner
• Ensures the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy
• Communcate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors and supervisors
• Maintains and repairs buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts
• Assists with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; Exercises safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies

Requirements:

• General Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• US work authorization (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Previous residential/Property management experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Must have own basic hand tools
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Hours/Shift: primarily 8:30am-5:00 pm Monday – Friday; Shifts will include rotating weekends and evenings as well as on-call shifts
