Position Qualifications

General Description
Under direct supervision of VP Finance & Advancement, this position supports the clerical and administrative needs of the Finance Department. Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and filing systems. Must have working knowledge and experience with accounting systems and practices.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Associate degree in business/accounting required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Accounts payables and receivables. Responsible for accurate coding, posting, and accounting to Sage Intacct. Scans, submits, reviews, and affirms ledger posting.
- Accesses ACH/POS/online and credit card transactions and voids, online pay portals including PayPal Pro, eMerchant, and Stripe accounts.
- Confirms and distributes monthly financial reports, including YCL branch and department reports.
- Prepares monthly invoices for contracts/libraries/other.
- Supports submission and filing all forms and reports for FCC E-rate Universal Service Program. Reconciles/affirms resulting discounts/reimbursements.
- Manages effective filing system for digital and physical files and records.
- Provides administrative and general office support, including filing, office equipment and answering phones, communications with vendors, problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- As-needed backup support to payroll assistant for biweekly payroll processing.
- Provides Notary Services as instructed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Finance Department
